Canadian politician Justin Trudeau, our current Prime Minister, represents the liberal party and has served as the 23rd PM since 2015. He is the son of the 15th PM, Pierre Trudeau, and is currently in his second term. 

Hayley Wickenheiser, an inspiring former Canadian ice hockey player, was the first woman to play full-time professional hockey in a position other than goalie. She is now the Assistant Director of Player Development for the Toronto Maple Leafs. 

This world renowned motivational speaker, Spencer West, became the first amputee to ever reach the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. West lost the lower half of his body as a young age, and uses his challenges to encourage and motivate.  

Gold medalist Adam Van Koeverden is a Canadian kayaker, as well as a politician. With four olympic medals, he is one of Canada's most celebrated athletes. He remains to be a dedicated member of his community as well as an incredible athlete.

ALEXANDRE BILODEAU

Singer-songwriter Sarah Blackwood joined the indie-rock band Walk off the Earth in 2012. This artistic Canadian musician born in Burlington went on to assist in the success of the band becoming famous worldwide.  

Alexandre Bilodeau became the first freestyle skier to win two Olympic gold medals. In 2010, he won a gold medal in the men's moguls becoming the first Canadian to win a gold medal at an Olympic Games held in Canada.

THE BURIED LIFE

Clara Hughes, a speed skater and cyclist, is a talented and hardworking duel season olympian. With multiple medals in both sports, she remains to be a highly decorated Canadian olympian.

The Buried Life, a reality documentary, features four men attempting to complete a list of "100 things to do before you die". This adventurous group inspires many, and encourages others to go after their own dreams and lists.

Lights Poxleitner is a Canadian singer-songwriter signed to her own label, Lights Music. In 2009, Lights won a Juno on her EP for New Artist of the Year. This independent musician creates possibilities motivating others.

Nav Bhatia is an admirable Canadian businessman and super fan of the Toronto Raptors. He currently runs the Superfan Foundation as a way to unite people through the love of basketball. 

Born in Mississauga, John Tavares is the 2009 first overall NHL draft pick, two time gold medal winner, and current captain of the Toronto Maples Leafs NHL Team. 

TV personality, Jessi Cruickshank is the former co host of MTV's The After Show. She showed her comedic skills in an all male group. Her individuality and confidence is admirable for all.
